A rail shoulder is a pre-inserted item in concrete sleepers, available in both single stem and twin stem types. It is used to securely fix elastic rail clips, particularly e-clips, within the fastening system.
Our production capabilities cover two primary types of rail shoulders: Cast-in Shoulders and Weld-on Shoulders.
Casting Rail ShouldersCast-in shoulders are manufactured using iron casting processes. These are pre-embedded directly into concrete sleepers and work in conjunction with elastic clips to fasten the rail securely.
Available materials include M.C.I. (malleable iron) and S.G.C.I. (spheroid graphite iron). Other technical grades available: QT600-3, QT700-2, ZG25, ZG35, and ZG45.
Compliance Standards: GB/T 1348-1988, NF EN 1563, ISO1038, DIN 1693, JIS G5502, KS D 4302, GOST 7293, and BS EN 1563.
Weld-on ShoulderWeld-on shoulders are produced through hot forging. These are ideal for applications where standard sleepers cannot be easily utilized. They are welded onto flat steel base plates, allowing for the fabrication of rail retaining units on both steel ties and base plates, typically following AREMA standards.
These are compatible with Pandrol style clips ranging from 30lbs to 113lbs.
Special Rail ShoulderSpecialized shoulders are also available via hot forging, designed for use with rail clip bolts and specific fastening clips using low or mid-carbon steel materials.

The wheel set is a critical component of the Railway Bogie. Each set consists of two wheels, one axle, and two bearings. Depending on the application, additional parts like gears, brake discs, and axle boxes may be integrated.
Applications include wagons, locomotives, and passenger cars. Wheels can be supplied as either cast or forged, with axle and bearing configurations customized to specific performance requirements.
